TotalBond Veterinary Hospital at Paw Creek

Hospital Policies

At TotalBond Veterinary Hospital at Paw Creek, we make sure to provide the best possible service to our clients that we possibly can. In order to oversee many patients and adhere closely to our own standards, we ask that our clients accept a few of our policies to ensure quality care.

Appointment Policy

To serve all of our clients, we operate on an appointment basis. Clearly, however, we prioritize emergency cases, which makes appointment delays unavoidable. Please realize our sincere attempt to serve your appointment on time and as scheduled.

“Drop-off” appointments are available for your convenience, in which you drop your pet off with us at a time that works best for you and leave him/her for a few hours. We advise that you do so in the morning so that our doctor will have time to conduct of full physical exam of your pet. Once the examination is finished, our doctor will call you to discuss the diagnosis and outline the discharge instructions.

For all appointments, please bring a bag with all medications (prescription and OTC), nutritional supplements, and anything else that you are administering to your pet.

We require that all vaccinations be up to date in order to prioritize safety.

Our staff has undergone specific training in Low-Stress and Fear-Free Handling, which means we may use peanut butter occasionally to incentivize or distract. Please let us know in advance if your family has a peanut allergy.

Although we make every effort possible to ensure the comfort of our patients, our patients may feel uneasy about their new surroundings, so we may sometimes recommend sedation, which in some cases may mean rescheduling after you have administered medicine to your pet at home.

Arrival and Waiting Room Policy

We ask that all dogs be kept on a leash or in pet carriers and all cats be placed in carriers before entering the waiting room. If you are aware of any biting issues, please muzzle your pet to protect the safety of all animals and individuals in our facilities.

If you believe your pet may have a contagious disease, please let us know so that our staff can make proper arrangements to protect you, your pet, themselves, and our other clients.

Payment Methods

We require full payment at the time that our services are rendered. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash, personal checks, and CareCredit®.

Prescription Refills

We provide many different pet products such as parasite preventatives, medications, science diets, and much more.

If your pet is in need of a product refill, please be sure to call us 24-48 hours in advance so that we can complete your request. You can also request a prescription refill through our PetDesk app. In the unlikely scenario in which the product in need is out of stock, advanced noticed will allow for enough time to obtain the product before it runs out. We will be sure to let you know if that is the case.

Prescription Diets

Prescription diets are specifically designed to treat a variety of our patients’ conditions. We carry many prescription diets, and for your convenience, your veterinarian will recommend the best prescription diet to you based on your pet’s specific needs and conditions.
